Wild garlic carpets woodland floors in spring, filling the air with its distinctive scent. These particular stems were responsibly foraged locally.

This panel was cast directly from real stems, pressed into plaster just before it bloomedt. Every feature is preserved exactly as the plant made it. This wild garlic was foraged locally. I find something reminiscent of Art Nouveau in this design — though perhaps that's just me.

Display it somewhere with a right-angle light source to enhance the sculptural relief shadows, and it will do different things at different hours.
All of my pieces are hand-made and one-of-a-kind. Using natural materials there may be some ‘quirks’ such as small bits of botanicals left behind. A memory of the plant used to create the piece.
